Dubai is set to welcome a remarkable new coastal destination—Jebel Ali Beach, which will become the longest public beach in the city, stretching an impressive 6.6 kilometers. The ambitious development project has been officially approved, bringing a dynamic mix of recreation, nature, and conservation to Dubai’s coastline.
A Landmark Waterfront Experience
Spanning 330 hectares, Jebel Ali Beach is designed to offer something for everyone—from families and nature lovers to sports enthusiasts and eco-tourists. The development will include:
- 5 kilometers of sandy beachfront developed by Nakheel
- 1.6 kilometers of mangrove beach to be developed by Dubai Municipality
Visitors can look forward to:
- Swimming and diving facilities
- Walkways with scenic viewing platforms
- Dedicated children’s play areas
- A vibrant mangrove ecosystem
Turtle Rehabilitation & Marine Conservation
One of the most exciting features of the project is the inclusion of turtle rehabilitation programs, allowing guests to observe sea turtles in their natural habitat. This initiative aligns with Dubai’s growing focus on marine life conservation and environmental education.
Visionary Urban Development
The Jebel Ali Beach project reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and is being driven under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
“Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, we are committed to developing the infrastructure and services needed to offer diverse urban experiences for citizens, residents, and visitors,” said Sheikh Hamdan.
“The ultimate goal is to enhance the well-being of the city’s people, create a healthy environment for all, and make Dubai the world’s best place to live in.”
A New Coastal Icon
Jebel Ali Beach is more than just a new destination—it’s a vision of sustainable urban living, blending recreation, nature, and community. Once complete, it will redefine beachfront experiences in Dubai and further strengthen the city’s position as a global leader in innovative and inclusive development.
